Speedshop44 Open Day and TVR Meet-Up

Speedshop44 and P&K Thornton Restorations hosted their first joint event on Saturday 5th of April. This event was an open-day event to celebrate the launch of Speedshop44 and a local TVR meet-up hosted in the new social space at our workshops. Barista coffee was served, and we had a wide variety of classic cars on show including a TVR Chimaera and Tuscan.

Some other future and modern classic cars on show were the Lamborghini Huracán Performante Spyder, released in 2019, this supercar can reach a top speed of 201 mph, going from 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds. We also had a Porsche 914 on show, which was a joint effort from Porsche and Volkswagen when it was unveiled in 1969. In addition, we had an Alfa Romeo 105/115 Series Coupé, a Ford Anglia and a Jaguar XJS along with many more classic cars.

We enjoyed speaking to all the people who attended our open day/ TVR meet-up and appreciate the donations made to Cancer Research, a cause close to our hearts. We will be hosting more events soon, keep in touch and stay tuned for more social/technical experiences at the Speedshop44 workshops.
